“Misunderstanding Focus” is series of photo collages made by Nerhol, a collaboration between Ryuta Iida and Yoshihisa Tanaka. Each artwork is made of a several photos which were taken in a 3 minutes time span and then layered like an onion.

There is a pre-Christian legend in which the Achaemenid King and Egyptian Pharaoh Xerxes had the strait at Hellespont punished with 300 lashes after bridges that had been built on his order were destroyed by a storm shortly after construction. Julius von Bismark helpfully brings this to life.
The show is at the Alexander Levy Gallery in Berlin.
