This could be nicely combined with a moon phase calendar.

Just awful. Since the length of a month is completely arbitrary, this calendar is neither useful nor beautiful.

For practicality, make the weekdays line up like on most calendars. For beauty, make something natural line up, such as moon phases.

PS. When visted via Google Reader the site freezes up the whole of Chrome, also Firefox. Some achievement!
